Kim crossed another milestone in her career early this summer when she was chosen from hundreds of applicants to be part of a house band for the new game show "The Singing Bee". This new game show is a fresh, fast moving romp, and fun for the whole family. The house band and singers present short snippets of popular songs, and at a given point in the song the contestant has to take over and finish the lyric. The show is truly entertaining because of the very gifted and witty host , Melissa Peterman. Her zany antics with the contestants will keep you glued to the set. It will be airing on CMT this summer.

One of the first live tours she ever did was with the legendary band The Scorpions, who had put together a set with an orchestra and wanted to add a few girls to their line up. It was a brief tour, but it was an amazing start for her in the live circuit.

Kim’s love for music began at a very young age, writing songs under the willow tree in her backyard (in New Jersey) with her acoustic guitar on her knee.

She performed in bars and coffee houses all thru college and put her first band together after college. After showcasing in New York City for a season, her dream of landing a publishing/recording deal materialized in the nineties when she signed with Zomba Music and RCA records, and that was her reason to relocate to Nashville Tennessee, where she and her husband (Wayne Baird) permanently reside. Kim has also written and recorded jingles for radio and television. She was responsible for several of the Wendy’s late night spots, and is currently on a Whirlpool/Habitat For Humanity national jingle.
